Not sure you can rent motorcycles in Guatemala, and if you could, you wouldn't want to cross borders with a rental bike...that would be a disaster...I just got back from a motorcycle tour of Central America and really enjoyed Guatemala though...When we pulled into a little town at Lake Atitlan, the hotel owner ran up to us and said, "are you the two motorcycle riders that got robbed at gunpoint just up the road yesterday?" It suffices to say that it was a warm welcome... If you are able to rent a bike...you'll have the best luck doing so in Guatemala city...then it sounds like you want to go north east to Tikal, cross the border into Belize, cross Belize and the entire Yucatan to Cancun?
