issues with a '93 model?

I found a '93 with 24k miles for sale, right in my price range. It
needs a little TLC, but seems solid.
Are there any known issues I should be aware of on the earlier models??
Thanks for the help.

A great ride indeed, in your hood almost. Take the 101
North, after Shelton, before the Mini Casino, take a
left on Skokomish Valley Road (Not Skok River road,
you went too far)
The Valley road is incredible itself, then fork right
onto SFR 23 (marked) and follow the signs to the steel
bridge.
If you dont like heights, dont stop on the bridge, it
will make you dizzy. There is another railroad bridge
up there that I used to go to in my youth, in the same
vicinity, but I have not found it yet, I have heard it
is no longer accessible.
IMHO you need to be careful in the Shelton area, the
good ole' boy factor combined with a high survivalist
and pot grower population, makes this a rough area.
Just mind your own, and don't talk to strangers, and
you should be fine. And most 4 whell vehicles cant
keep up with a bike on dirt roads, and certainly cant
take a trail as well...
