That is a pretty good one. Tho, even at that level of junk, I don't think the oil flow was being reduced in a relevant way. Funny you mentioned it. I just pulled the screen today on a bike that I recently bought. The screen looked great (16,500 miles), but the oil pump drive gear nut was loose, indicating that the bike was worked on by some dip$hit. Fortunately, the claw washer was holding it on. I retorqued it, draped a cloth over the exposed internals and then went inside to feed the kids lunch. When I went back out, I was in a hurry to get the bike back together and when I tightened the last nut, I stood up and saw the screen sitting on the luggage rack. DOH!
