My buddy passed a car illegally and I got stuck behind the car. So after finally passing, I hadn't reduced my speed yet and I was lying on the tank just to avoid wind in my mx type helmet with glasses. CHP MotoCop was coming from the other direction. He kept asking "how fast do you think you were going?" I kept not giving a direct answer. He wrote me for 75+ but he really couldn't tell if I was going 90 or 60 from straight on. I'm out in the East Mountains, South of Tijeras. Just moved here from Maryland in December. Will miss Mark's Pennsylvania ride this year but am looking forward to getting up to Moab in June. There are a lot of gravel roads and two track trails in the National Forest around here, but I haven't had much of a chance to explore them yet what with this being the wettest Winter on record this year.
