I seem to recall some discussions in the last year or so about a lower front
fender offered by Acerbis. I was unable to find any reference to this in the
archive though. Have any of you used this product? Are you happy with it?
Looking through acerbis.com it appears that they no longer offer it. If
anyone has one that they'd be willing to part with, let me know.

I am considering mounting the low front fender and have looked at Rev.'s
pics but would like to see some more. Does anyone else have some pics of
this setup?

I have a black, low front fender that I just took off my 99 KLR. Made in
Italy, may be an Acerbis. Sorta makes the bike look like a road bike. Any
one know what it might have cost new, or what it is worth?? I want to sell
it.

My parts bike came with one from Acerbis. It was white. If I recall,
it had Acerbis embossed on the mounting hardware. Otherwise, yours
is probably a UFO. I believe both are Italian.
15-20 bucks sounds about right, depending on its condition.

I have searched extensively and found several pictures but very
little tech info on putting a street type fender on the front of my
KLR.
Has anyone here done this modification?
Where did you get the fender?
What is needed to mount?

The second hit has some stuff about installation and tells you where to
get the fender. The FAQ points you to the same place.

Where can i find a low mount front fairing. I've seen a picture or two of them( http://
photos.innersource.com/group/4271) . but cant find one my self. any ideas? is that a ktm
fender?
also wondering if anyone has tried a different mini fairing or tengai'd their bike.

Anyone have or know of a make number for a lower front fender the ole
six-fiddy ?
I know there is one on ebay right now, but it looks in poor condition,
even though the price for it is going up, up and away.
I have scanned all the Acebris sites I can find but have come up empty
handed. I also know Fred sells one on his site, but that needs to cut to
fit the bike, which I don't want to do.
So if you have one for sale, please let me know, along wth your asking
proce and shipping costs. Or if you know of a website that sells them,
please point me in the right direction.
