I need to buy a service manual for my brother's '05 KLR650 ... I want
to buy a used one but I need to make sure Kawasaki has nopt gone and
changed everything ... I figure all they changed mainly is paint and
graphics ... maybe some smog tuning ... anyone know?
Also is the Suzuki 650 now the KLR650 with a name change? or visa
versa? That's what I heard some time ago but can't recall details

Is there a file or FAQ anywhere on this group detailing history of
the KLR 650? I sure would love to know all the chages and
simiarities from day one till 2005! Mostly right now I just need to
know what the differences are between 2005 and the few years prior to
it 2000-2004 for the sake of buying an older manual for less bucks
IF practical to work on my bros biks ... BUT I love these bikes and
plan to buy one myself directly so I need to know what years are "all
pretty much the same" etc. in case I come accross KiLleR deal!
