Looking for any feedback on the K761's. They appear to have a
similiar tread pattern as maybe the Avon Distanzia's. I found them
on the Arrowhead Motorsports webpage, and they are priced right.
Thanks.

I'll be needing a new set of rubber this spring and have been
considering the Kenda K761. It looks like it's about a 70% road tire
which matches my riding. Can anybody give some feedback on this tire.
It's not an expensive brand, so I don't expect miracles.

I liked mine for the brief time (< 1000 miles) that I had them. They
run smooth and feel nicely sticky (the stickiness seems a feature shared
by most Kendas). I only took them off because I went to full knobs; if
I were to go back to something less than full knobbies I'd put the
Kendas back on.
Come to think of it, anyone want to buy some not-very-used K761s? I
could take some pictures tonight. I had a different bike now for the
street so the KLR only ever wears very off-road-oriented rubber.

uni-trak removal?

Just finished my A9 a few days ago. Loosen the engine mount just above the
swing arm. It will allow the frame to relax just enough to have the arm drop
out.

Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Uni-Trak Removal?
I'm greasing the suspension bearings. I have the swingarm, links,
and shock off at this point. However, I'm trying to remove the Uni-
Trak arm and am having problems. It seems to be fitted between the
tube flanges on the bottm through-bolt for the frame and I don't see
how I can get it out without serious grunt. Every other dirt-style
bike I've worked on is a flush mount at that point. Of course, I'm
probably missing something as usual. I looked through the Kawi
manuals and I don't see any mention of how to get it out. Can
someone point out to me what mistake I'm making and how to get it
out? Thanks.
