Remove caps, let out the air, replace the caps. The guy at the dealer I bought mine from added 10 psi to each tube and told be it will make a better ride. It did actually, but I was worried I might blow out a seal, I tend to ride kinda hard offroad. I thnk the decal on the tube says something about pressure, but manual says atmosphere or something. Fork seals are not too costly if you pop one I suppose, and changing fork fish oil will not hurt anything. I think it's remove caps, lift front end to extend the forks all the way, let out air, replace caps. Mark> >Remove caps, let out the air, replace the caps.
Yes, some of the parish (county) sheriff's departments are as corrupt as a $3 bill. The departments mentioned in the 20/20 documentary are, I believe, the Jefferson Davis Parish Sheriff's Department and the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department, both of which are corrupt as it gets (towards outsiders, they deal with their own constituents fairly). But the Louisiana State Police is thoroughly professional and as honest as any state police department anywhere in the nation (for what that's worth). Since you mention three cars in a row, it was probably the State Police task force, because most Louisiana Sheriff's departments don't *HAVE* three cars all operational at one time (heh! most of the Sheriff's cars in rural parishes are retired State Police cruisers, i.e., already worn out when they get them, and spend more time in the garage than on the road). And yes, if they were doing it, it was most likely that they had an opinion by the Louisiana Attorney General's office saying that it was legal. -E> > At 10:05 AM -0800 1/27/05, ron criswell wrote: >>Coming back from Florida Monday on my Concourse on I - 10, I noticed >>what seemed to be a new radar technique with Louisiana radar cops. >>Buzzing along luckily doing the speed limit or thereabouts, I noticed >>about 3 cars pulled over with the trunk lids up like they had a flat or >>car trouble.
