folks:
i am looking for any one who has had some experence with riding the
trans amercia trail on the vernable klr650.
if you have done this and would be willing to discuss your findings
with me, it would be appreciated.

Check out the TAT website for some stories, and then check out
www.rtw101.com as these two have two stories there about riding the
trails on their KLR's.

I did Tennesse, Mississippi and Arkansas last year-----the trip
is well documented with text and pictures here:

whole lot. There were 4 KLR's---and some other oddball brands
Only
the KLR's finished it tho----I can rub it into those Beemer riders since
I have one

How about a ride on the TAT over the Rockies and into Moab just in time for
the Canyonlands Motor Classic? The first person I can remember doing this
was our good friends Punky n Lew.

pop quiz: name a bike lighter and faster
The DR-Z400S is lighter, don't have the performance data, but it
feels just as fast as the KLR. Sure as heck handles better 8~)
