I wonder if you could ask Happy Trails or someone to shorten a centerstand for you. The reason I suggest this is that Happy Trails sell both the same Tudebaker MFG. centerstand the everyone sells, plus they sell a modification of that stand. For an extra $35, Happy Trails adds a "foot kick" (I'd call it a foot lever) that greatly eases lifting the bike on to the stand. Well, I lived through my first end-of-the-year-project-mania, and it's time enjoy life a little again!! I changed my subscription back to daily emails, and hope to be a more active participant in the list again. Thanks to everybody who's kept in contact. It's good to know that for the most part, of of sight is not necessarily out of mind! I moved my KLR website from the familiar http://klr6500.tripod.com/ to the servers at SimpleHost: http://www.klr650.marknet.us/ The content is basically the same, with some additions and updates. Mostly this was just that for a couple dollars more per month I could get a Linux server with no file storage limitations and 40gb of bandwidth per month. It will be interesting to see how this affects my #1 standing with Google using the keyword "klr650." Anyway, it's good to be back. I've heard that Fred has been doing a great job of holding down the fort and beating off the Indians. I'll make no further comment on THAT!
