Hi all! Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. I am a newbie (very, very newbie) with a 2001 KLR 650 bought about a month ago. Looking forward to meeting riding partners (zip 12603, Hudson Valley area, NY) and learning about the bike, trails, maint, mods. etc. etc. Thanks and happy New Year!

Some time in the first half of 05, there s gonna be a Doohickey Party in Minnesota. The guru is Judson Jones and the students, so far, are: Tony W, Jim Jones, Jim Carter and randy perkins. At least two of us are planning to install new fork springs as well as better doohickeys. Exactly when this is gonna happen hasn t been finally determined. As to where, it ll probably be in or near the Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area. I m trying to get things organized now. Anybody else in the upper midwest interested? If so, let me or Judson know.
