Does anyone have any experience with this bag? From the web pictures I have seen it looks kink of like a pair of smaller saddlebags connected to the ends of a duffel bag. I was wondering if it held a lot and if it is true that you don't need to have side racks to use it. It looks pretty good and the price seems reasonable especially if I don't need to buy side racks. Thank you,

The Alfa Rear Bag has been updated. To address the issue of the bag sagging when not full we have added The Anti-Sag Strap. This strap is located at the center top seam of each side pocket. By Tightening the strap it lifts the pockets away from the pipe. Using this strap and the four other compression straps the rider can secure the contents and the bag from shifting. For all of you current Alfa Rear Bag and Beta Rear Bag users good news we make a retro fit anti sag strap that clips onto the D-Rings at the top. It functions the same way as the Anti-Sag Strap. Better news for a limited time we will offer this Retro Strap Kit for free. If interested either e-mail us at info@... or call us 800/535-8131. Thank You Eric R Hougen Wolfman

I use the Wolfman saddle bags with the duffle bag. They can get floppy when I'm not on a trip requiring all my gear. I use a bungy net with hooks that you can buy at WallMart for under $10. Works nice for keeping everything from moving around too much and for holding down a spare shirt or jacket... or Gazatteer... or groceries... or whatever I might need quickly. Toast
