help -- instrument bulbs
Second posting. I REALLY don't want to have to pull the instrument
cluster odd the bike to find this out.
I looked in the faq and also searched the list and was not able to
find this info.
What bulbs are used to light the Neutral light and the turn signal
light. I know the others are basically 194's but don't know about
the others.
TIA

The part number does not correlate to the actual bulb number I can
go out and purchase at the local auto parts store. ALL the other
ones are basically 194 bulbs except for those 2. Those I can reach
with out taking the whole cluster off of its mount.
Thanks though.

Replace any 158's you find with 194's. The 158 is only rated for 500 hours and KHI loves them for some reason. That's what I did. I still need to know what the other 2 are though.

holes in sunstar c/s sprocket
Sunstar makes one sprocket to cover all KLRs from 90 to the 05 models.
Kawasaki changed the way they are mounted in 96 but the shaft splines are
the same. So you don't use those holes if you have a newer model and use
the holes if you have the older KLR.
