Just finished a trip from Oklahoma City to Belgrade Montana and
back. My KLR is pretty stock, doohickie mod and safety switches is
all I've messed with. Yellowstone was a blast. My muffler fired off
the bike in nowhere Wyoming and I had to tie it on with bard wire, a
cool look if I say so myself. 40 mph crosswinds are the pits on this
tall bike! With a total of 7000 miles on the bike now I'm replacing
the OEM tires with D607's. Good for what I use the bike for. Stock
seat wasn't too bad, averaged 480 miles a day with a 600 being the
longest. I guess I just haven't felt the difference and too
cheap/poor to get a new seat. All in all I still love my bike.
