Could someone measure the distance between the centers of the pivots on both the "lowering links" and also the "stock links" for the rear suspension. The reason I ask is that I bought a used KLR650 and assumed it came with the stock links, but I'm not sure which ones are on the motorcycle. Thanks, Nick

Usually lowering links are aluminum. The stock ones are steel. Get a magnet and check. Alot of aluminum links have something written on them too. Also when one installs lowering links, they shove the fork tubes up in the triple clamps an inch or two. Stock setup is flush at the top with the triples. What does yours look like? I measure 0.41 feet center to center on the stock links.
