If you listen very carefully to the sound the gas cap makes as it
vents in the quiet of the woods you will hear; "Luke, I am your
father."
If you ride tight enough conditions, you should just spin off the
mirrors, or at the least get the seperate left-hand side mirror mount
so if it snags it doesn't rip your signal pod off too.
