Gentlemen:
I just finished the first part of the "KLR Better Front Suspension &
Brakes Project"
From the very begining I complained about the KLR650 front
suspension bottoming , wobbling etc. (you know the feeling!!!)
First I bought the progressive springs upgrade and after lots of
hours working on the oil grade and level settings, I decided to
change the front. This is, front forks/tire/rim/brakes.
One ebay day I saw a complete Honda CRF450 new for sale "without"
engine. ummmm Who is going to buy a chassis with no engine on it?
Then I started to see a real bunch of CRF parts on ebay..... Well
guess what? some people buy the CRF to build a quad racer out of it.
And then Then I saw it clear....My KLR with a Brand new set of Showa
Inverted Forks. This weekend I had opportunity to test drive my
KLRF. The thing not only brakes better, but handles better in the
rocks , mud, Sand and also the highway. Now I ride more
comfortable, secure and happier than before.
The second part is to install the topeak panoram computer and do the
cosmetic job for the wires sw. and tach...and send you guys pictures.

latest 'stich catalog
Just ordered a couple items from them........should be here any day now.
Really looking forward to the tapered sheepskin seat cover that Tumu liked
for the long ride across Pennsylvania next week.
