travel in se utah and rockies

I am new to KLR 650 and looking for contacts on traveling in SE Utah and along the Rockies this summer. Does anyone have info on recommended roads and trails and how to contact individuals doing similiar exploring? Any suggestions. Thanks Chan Chandler
