bicycle mount to a klr?

I want to use my KLR to transport my mountain bike. Does an off the
shelf rack kits for bicycles exist? Or if any one has made a rack,
can you provide some guidance?

Completely agree. This has to be one of the best buys in the motorcycle world. Mine is handy beyond belief. My wife likes to ride on the back of the KLR rather than the Goldwing because of the the travel trunk.
