Hey Chris, got my 86 KLR 600 last oct. for a 1000, dont know anything about what the prices should be, but seemed to be worth it. it had 13k miles on it. had to put a new chain & sprocket , do some tinkering on it, but have had a blast on it; guys on the list can give you all kinds of info on it if you need to tinker on it. OK folks, I'm comming to the source for info. I'm looking into purchasing a 86 model, what should I be looking for? What would it be worth? I don't know much about it yet except it has 14,000 miles on it and doesn't sound abused. I've been surfing and have found some great sites I'm just not sure if I want something this old or a 600.
