Hey Chris, got my 86 KLR 600 last oct. for a 1000, dont know anything about what the prices should be, but seemed to be worth it. it had 13k miles on it. had to put a new chain & sprocket , do some tinkering on it, but have had a blast on it; guys on the list can give you all kinds of info on it if you need to tinker on it. Weldon 2/1 CAV Roland, Ok.

OK folks, I'm comming to the source for info. I'm looking into purchasing a 86 model, what should I be looking for? What would it be worth? I don't know much about it yet except it has 14,000 miles on it and doesn't sound abused. I've been surfing and have found some great sites I'm just not sure if I want something this old or a 600. Thanks for any input, bugspit
