I am getting back into the klr thing after a brief switch to the
cruiser world. Use to ride a 99 klr and will pick up an 04 soon.
Never did any mods to the last one, however this one will be the
cats meow when done. Hopefuly with your help, I am looking for
advice and a chance to see some of your improvements in person. So
if anyone lives in Northern Virginia, D.C. metro area and wants to
show off your proud work, give me an email.

Hey Hans, I live in the Eastern Shore of Maryland, about an hour away from DC. I only get over that way for Caps hockey games, tho! LOL!
If you travel this way, I'll meet up with you, just mail me.

new bike price

In June of '03 I paid $4300 for a 2002 holdover with 3 miles on it. The only other charges were $75 title and reg. and 5% to the state of Vt. On top of that, I used 0 down 0% interest untill Jan. '04 option. I plan to pay it off in full when the first payment comes due and never pay a dime in financing charges. Normally, I try to negotiate on price in lieu of the financing deals but this time they wouldn't bite so I took it. Use the dealer locator on Kawasaki.com and start calling all the dealers within 100 miles. I wouldn't pay more than $4700 while it's 15 degrees out with snow forecasted in the near future.
