real men don't use rotor holders, was rotor removal...
Anybody else notice the obvious in this thread?
Dealers don't use the holder tool, 'cause they have air tools. "Zap
on and zap off", as Stu says.
This means that they are miles off the correct torque value when
they re-install the rotor.
What a shock.
In all my years as a motorcyclist, I've only run into ONE dealer
mechanic who actually used a torque wrench consistently...
...and about 50 who were willing to lie to me about it!

Anybody ever heard anything or news about the Julian
fire. Heared on radio that they evacuated all
people within the area. Wonder what happened to our
friends especially Buddy Sieffert ( who always sponsor
our Julian Tech Day), to Mr.Elden Carl who's
opinion are always treasured. And to the rest of the
gang living within the vicinity. Any info from anybody
will help in order for us to reciprocate in anyway the
things that they've been doing to make our sport
extra interesting. Any point of contact will help to.
Thanks,
