hey all
the plastic on my '01 KLR started fading really fast- after a year of owning
it it really started to show- now after 2 1/2 years its a pale green shadow
of its former off-the-showroom-floor luster. i tried some plastic treatment
on it which exacerbated the situation- now its totally fried.
has anyone had good results with that new krylon plastic paint, or anything
else like that? if not i'd like to find a reasonably priced replacement kit
for all the plastic...
and...has anyone found some aftermarket signals that can withstand a few
dumps? ive replaced the rear signals twice for each one so far. man i'd just
like to get some reinforced titanium ones or something.

I think dual star still sells "take offs" from the military KLR.
