As I was checking my doohicky I heated a 1 1/4 wrench to bend it and while still hot checked for clearance I touched the inside oh rotor and a poof of smoke. what is in the inside of this?. damage is only .015 in. deep. will this cause problems? T.I.A. biggbiker@... a-4 a-6

I would guess you hit some oil and it smoked. What is only .015" deep ? scratch/gouge ? Dooden A15 Green Ape

The inside roter is plastic? or some soft material.The burn is .015 deep. I am wondering if their are some kind of insulated feilds or magnets or other elecrical components in there? biggbiker@...
