The KLR 650 has: 90/90 x 21 150/80 x 17 Are the first numbers width/height? Are they millimeters? How much variance is allowed in the width/height? Thank you, Warren

Sort of a mixed specification, tires. They use a mixture of metric and English. First number is width in mm. Second number is height as a percentage of width. Last number is rim size in inches. I don't know where that width is measured (maximum point?) or whether the height is with the tire mounted or off. I'd guess mounted and inflated. Not sure what you mean by variance. -Jim in AZ

pelican box

I've just ordered a #1600 Pelican box for the rear of my A17. Son is welding up a 16x16 rear deck. Any ideas on how to attach the box? It would be nice if I could have a quick release so I could take it into a motel room. Thanks. don [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
