riding in gravel

Thanks everyone for all the responses! I modified my riding posture
as Pat suggested, and just let 'er twitch, and it wasn't too bad! I
guess I just have to spend more time in the saddle getting used to the
feeling, so it is not so unnerving. I was really surprised by how
fast in a straight line over washboard gravel the KLR can go--the
unishock really works great. I think I'll try adjusting the air
pressure in the tires a little, as I am about 285 lbs and have the
tires pumped up near max pressure as me and the bike almost max out
the load capacity of the stock tires. This winter I want to put on a
pair of knobbies, so that might help too. Thanks again, what a great
