I picked up a pair of Moose guards from a local backyard shop, but had to realize that the inside expanding "clamp" is way to small for my standard handlebar, they won't even get close to touching the inside walls of the handlebar tube. The diameter of the aluminum cylinders is 13mm, the inside diameter of the handlebar is 19mm (outside ca. 22.5mm). Am I missing something? Volker

I experienced the same thing with my Acerbes gaurds, only in reverse. I have the smaller ID alluminum Renthal bars, and was looking at some really big OD clamps, that would not go in at all. After some phone calls, and talking to some friends, I realized that these were for the stock ID bars, and that I needed the other clamps. I went back downstairs to look at everything that came with the gaurds and DOOH!!.......They were in there too.......I just needed to open my eyes. My Moose guards came with the same metal deal that was way too small, but also had a rubber one. I just used the rubber one, cranked it down real tight, and it seems to be working fine. Bike has landed on them a couple of times, and they dont move.
