Has anyone mounted a 76S bike bracket to the KLR. I'd be interested to know how they did it.

The best option is to find the correct Ram Mount and buy that. The
ones Garmin sells are note worth the money.

IMHO the Touratech line carried by Cycoactive are the best mounts
manufactured for use in a KLR/GPS configuration. While the less
expensive Ram mounts are quite suitable, IMHO, for any other "on-road,
multi cylinder" ride the physical protection, security and isolation
from vibration offered by the Touratech line is tops. I used one on my
KLR with a Garmin 45 for thousands of miles with no problems what so
ever and will continue to use one with my new Garmin 176. I've included
