Just a note to let all rejoice in the fact that this morning, amid a shower of high power sprinklers from Dallas Baptist University, my beloved 2000 KLR650 turned 20,000 miles. Now the pucker factor... with the stock doohickey (I HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!)

Let it be known to all that this morning, amid a showering courtesy of Dallas Baptist University's high power lawn sprinklers, my beloved 2000 KLR650 turned 20,000 miles.
This, with a stock doohickey ( I HOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Better keep going Jason, I'm right behind you with just shy of 18,000
on my A8. I've put 8,000 miles on this sweet machine in just 4
months, and I haven't taken any trips on it either. But I am leaving
for Disney Land in So. Ca in 2 months.

Nobody (LEO or otherwise) has ever commented on my non-DOT tire choices.
Not even AMA tech inspectors at dual-sport events.
Dangerous tires don't raise an eyebrow, but loud pipes that save lives
certainly will.
Maybe the two compensate for each other?
