Hi folks,
I was hoping someone could give me some insight into buying a used
KLR 650. The guy wants $3,000 for a '98 in great condition (never
been crashed or laid down). The bike has 5K miles on it. Is that a
good price?
Thanks,

Incidentally, can anyone think of anything besides missing or bad
thrust washers that would change the spacing of the relevant bits on
the shaft (or otherwise change the clearance to the doohickey?) I'm
pretty sure those washers are in the right places (and I know they
were the first time) and we ground the heck out of the doohickey in
Lander so I'm amazed that it's interfering again and I'm thinking
that the spacing on the shaft may be wrong.
