windshields (laminar lip?)

I have a laminar lip on my Caponord and as Tom said it puts some stress on the windshield. I think that stock KLR would support the lip and there would be a way of mounting one of the lips. But if you are talking about clearview shield I bielieve that they are to week and would break. I have clearview and on the highway speed you can see the shield going from one side to the other sometimes. (no lip attached) Also I never mounted one on KLR but on the Caponord it helps a bit, not as much as they claim but better than stock. Arek --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, Thomas Currin wrote:

I am looking to put a 16T sprocket on my 93 klr650. Because of shipping and close proximity, I want to get one from Dennis Kirk, but they only list 16T sprockets available for 1987-89 klr650's. I thought that all parts from any year would fit. Am I mistaken, or won't a sprocket from an 87 work on a 93? thanks for your help, alx

Give Fred Hink (http://www.happy-trail.com/) a call. He can have the right one sent to you in usually 2/3 days!

Wow, that would be like, 16 hours. I knew Fred was good but... -- Dave Morrow Vermilion, Ohio "it is better to go into a turn slow and come out fast, than go into a turn fast and come out dead." - Stirling Moss
