True, I tried an aftermarket switch, but I didn't have the little wire'n'spring to connect it to the pedal. This connecting spring is REALLY important, you can't just use wire and have the switch last. I figured the OEM switch lasted 15,000mi, so I just bought another one. Plus no work to wire it in- sometimes it's easier to just get stock parts, you know they fit. Anyone know of a cheap (stock Kawasaki shifter from a different bike) upgrade that will bolt on to the stock KLR shifter spline without modification? Thanks, Roy
