novice seeking info

I am looking to buy a used KLR 650, year 1996, with progressive fork, givi top case for about $3000. I dont know if that is a good price to pay for the bike. I love the bike, but somehow i feel the price is a bit high. What is the right price to pay for the bike. THe bike has about 11000 touring miles on it. Hope someone can help me. Andrea
