We lowered my wife's bike the full 3 inches allowed by the scootworks links. We lowered mine just 1 inch. Silly me forgot to check the chain tension before installing the links; just did not even think of it since the bikes were new. After lowering I noticed that her chain was too tight; I adjusted it. Mine was on the tight side of allowable. So, I am thinking that since the chain tension is checked with the bike "topped out" then maybe the lowering itself draws it tighter. But then this begs the question of whether I should use the same tension mesurement with this 3 inch lowered bike. Or should it be a little tighter since it has less overall traval now? --Doug
