Hey Guys,
I posted a copy of a Dyno run just done on my stock KLR 650. It's in
the groups pictures under GG_KLR_DYNO
It's a 2000 KLR with 1000 miles. It's currently getting
approximately 52.5 mpg. I'll be changing the airfilter, jetting,
airbox and exhaust. After that we'll run it on the dyno again. The
current dyno shows just over 34HP on the best run. We'll see if we
can get it up to 41..I still haven't decided on a pipe, probably a
laser pro duro.
I'll keep you posted.

All the dynos are different so a 2hp difference isn't
unusual. I did have my mixture screw turned out to 1 1/2
turns instead of the stock 3/4 turn but that was it for
mods.
I'm glad to see someone is finally doing proper
documentation of their engine mods. I'm not sure where
you're going to find 7hp, but I can't wait to see the
"after" dyno with the pro-duro and airbox mods. And thanks
for posting fuel economy, that's important.
