KLRista:
I'm just trying to get my wife used to the idea of seeing a KLR before one actually appears in the (muddy) driveway. I want to put one up on my desktop. I'm running 1024x768 resolution. Anyone have a nice pic, or know of a good place to find one?
I checked the list home page on Yahoo and didn't see a pic I could use.
Thanks!

This one is halfway decent, I guess. You're welcome to use it, if you'd

Hi Thane, so I'm not the only STOC'er lurking here, eh?

Still using
your Granny's green ST pic as one of my wallpapers.

Thane, go to
www.kawasaki.com and check out the motorcycles. When
you find the KLR, you'll see in the top corner of the picture
something to the effect: Download Images You can then do a
wallpaper version or the image version. Do the image version as then
there aren't any words to distract you. You can then change them
everyday, even do a Concours, then a Zrex, etc...

(Grinning), By golly, you're right, it IS a Cat 8M4991 o-ring. In fact,
being an advocate of buying in "bulk" there is one on each side, and I gave
two away to a guy who has a Concours. I couldn't make the o-ring work
*conveniently* to save my life. That's why you'll also see a Vista-Cruise
throttle lock. I'm thinking that some day, in some far off place, I might
just find a use for those o-rings...
