It's gonna be a long, cold winter for some of you out there, so here's a little something to warm you all up... The Difference Between The Liberal and Conservative "Debate" Over The War On Terrorism: Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a Glock .40 cal. and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do? __________________________________________________________________ Liberal Answer: Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days to try to come to a conclusion. Maybe better yet, I can take a poll of the American public (of course in the liberal northeast part of the country) and see what they would do? ____________________________________________________________ Conservative Answer: BANG! ____________________________________________________________ Texan's Answer: BANG! Love it... But what if the little girl says... Daddy my grouping was better.. ? My brother and his wife shoot competition in handguns, one day we are at camp, poking holes in targets and my sister-in-law asks my 2 daughters (about 11 & 12 at the time) if they want to try her gun, since they were using my rifles. (and yes.. they have been instructed on saftey and usage) I do not know the brand of this gun, but it looks like Dirty Harrys .44 Mag with the clip and long barrel, but in .22 cal. Within the first 10 shots or so my daughter is shooting better than my sister-in-law..

She was shocked and asked to borrow her when the range has mother/daughter team shoots or something.. Next my daughter wants to try my brothers Thompson contender single shot, he looks at me, I give him the nod, so he shows her how it works and such, we both figure one shot and she would be all done with that one, since it had the .357 Mag barrel on it... Nope after about 4 shots ringing the 8"~10" bell downrange (about 65 yards), she is reaching for another round to load and gives me a big ole shit eating grin and says " I LIKE THIS GUN " All my daughters, have been taught how to use weapons, why we use them, how to handle them and mostly how to respect them. In Ga.it would be, BANG!!!! When the Judge asks "why did you shoot him?" My reply, "he needed killin." Case dismissed.

Good morning. Interesting situation. I've been a Liberal for over 70 years. So here's my take. I would fire at him without a second thought. However because I have never fired a pistol I would probably miss. My bad luck, no one else to blame. Furthermore if I were sitting on my front porch eatin' moon pies, drinking Dr. Pepper and I saw some one across the street being attack. I would go and try to render assistance. Not stopping to ask 'what if I get sued' or "why doesn't he take care of him self". The War on Terrorism means Bin Laden. I think the answer is a 15 round mag. Get rid of that 10 round post ban thing.

Haven't I seen 30 and 40 round mags for those? I've got a bunch of 16's, a few 20's and one 40 for my EAA Witness 9mm. millerized you wanna talk about a warm barrel!

Nah, get rid of that wimpy .40, carry a Glock 21 with +2 pre-ban magazines loaded with Starfires. I think that 16 rounds of .45ACP should be plenty. If not, I'll take the Sten with me. If it's shoddy construction doesn't scare them away, the "budda-budda-budda-budda-budda-budda" of automatic fire will. Z
