Pit Passes are OK but If you REALLY want to get up close & personal
volunteer to corner work. You'll get closer to where you want to be & it's
way more exciting to be 10-20' from the action and not having some armco or
chain link fence to look thru. Besides the possibility of unique souvenirs
are very real. My friend has an autographed carbon fiber fender from Fast
Freddies Duc , during qualifing he broke Loudon's (NHIS) record lap time,
then crashed in his corner next lap. Such is the nature of riding at the
edge.
