Folks, In Eugene, OR there is a 99 KLR 650 for sale at around $3,200 or maybe less. You folks need to keep me from buying this bike by buying it yourself. It has 7000+ miles and is in good condition. My issue with the bike is that the owner said that he did not do a 600 mile valve adjust. He seems to keep it up well in all other respects. It has some minor scratches but looks pretty good. Missing right hand guard. Today is the day to act! If you want it let me know. Any comments about not doing the 600 service or other service items? Thanks, Gene Fessenbecker K1100LT, R100GS, KLR650

Has it had any valve adjustments at all? You could make him an offer pending a valve adjustment to determine if it has tight valves...that would give you more information on which to base the decision.... Kurt

does anybody know if my bike can be sold in the USA? I have a 99 KLR650 for sale. It has 4000km of pavement riding only. I live in Vancouver, B.C. I am asking $5200. The reason I am selling it is because I later discovered a 1995 KLR that I would not have to worry about scratching in the dirt. shawn

Shawn- Tell you what, you lend me the bike for 4 years, I'll ride it around and scratch it all up and give it back, then you'll have the same deal! Seriously, take your 1999 out in the woods and drop it or run into a tree or something. I can guarantee you that you won't care about scratches after that. Even better bend your first fairing frame out of whack. It's kinda of like a right of passage for your KLR. Ask guys like Russell'r about the best way to do it, they recommend something fun like running into your buddy and his KLR at 50 mph. The offer stands. ;) Zack

All, I just ordered the 10+ screen on ebay. I'll inform once I receive it in 10 days or so. My Cee Bailey's #2 on my R1100RT is great in both quality and function.
