I have the same results with the K270's with a fork brace. Almost a tank slapper. Never a problem with the Gripsters. I've become use to the scary ride in the twisties, but I do have to back off on aggressive cornering. The rear just starts walking off to the outside. I've noticed that if I countersteer less and use more body steering (tank/pegs) I can manage the Kenda's street behavior. I would like to try a set of TKC80s.... Robert A14

A local dealer carries Interstate m/c batteries. The Interstate sealed battery for the KLR, YTX14AHL-BS, is made by Yuasa, but comes dry. It has a neat acid filler that looks like a cow's udder. Pressing the filler bottle against the filler holes breaks the bottle's seals and acid flows until empty. Charge and install the sealing cap. The battery box cover is a tight fit as this battery is an RCH taller than the OEM battery. The ST1100 has a Yuasa sealed AGM battery and has lasted five worry- free years. I installed a new Interstate/Yuasa because I was in a buying mood.... Robert A14
