question about circuit breakers

Just a little peice of info for ya .....harley
davidson has been using automotive style cicuit
breakers for decades try to mount them with the wire
lugs pointing down ......this should help keep out
moisture .......they are a bimetalic strip that has a
spring open action when a short occurs if the cover is
allowed to be in the downward position they can fill
with water and cuase corrosion possibly creating a
short that will be unprotected .......
