The Kawasaki KLE is a V-Twin 500 cc Dual Sport (50 hp/6 speed), its only available in the "Old World". The Dual Sport motorcycles we want are being made, we just can't get them in the US. Harry SC

Actually it's a inline 2 cylinder, generates 33ftlbs @ 6500rpm and 50HP @ 8500rpm. Even without seeing a dyno of the engine, it certainely doesn't sound like an engine I'd want to have off-road, I'll take the 650's fewer horses, but better torque curve. Z DC

klr250 question.

I just purchased a new 03 model klr250, love it so fare. I have a question about two drilled and taped holes that are located on the front fork cross peice just below the head light. What if anything are those two holes for? Thanks for any info. on this.
