thunderslide?

Hi all,
I have screwed up my carb. I either didn't get the diaphragm in
place properly or I managed to puncture it. I'm assuming this
becasue of symptoms of large throttle openings having no effect,
but bike running OK at small throttle openings.
Anyway that's not really my reason for posting, the archives have
loads of good stuff on this (if only the Yahoo archive searching
wasn't quite so lame - does anyone else keep a searhable archive?)
After reading loads of stuff on the Keihin CV carb, a lot of
which was on HD sites, I kept coming upon mention of the DynoJet
ThunderSlide(tm) and the Yost Power Tube tuning kits. Haven't
found any mention of these for the KLR or people using them on
KLR's but I wondered if anyone has any experience or has seen
what is so special about the ThunderSlide (the Yost thing seems
to be a little beyond a jet kit). So not asking anything
specific just looking for thoughts on why/how the ThunderSlide has
a:
"Unique set of lift holes moderate how the slide moves with
respect to throttle position; the faster the slide opens the
quicker the throttle response"
and if there is a specific reason it is not available for the KLR.
Cheers
/dan
