It's in there, under "maintenance." Correct thread is M22 x 1.5.

Hey KLR Dudes,
I have a used Dual Star Muffler Guard and a set of Quality R&D
lowering links that I would like to sell. Thought I would post it
for the great guys and gals on the list before I go to Ebay.
The heat shield is in perfect condition mechanically (not bent or
warped) but does have some cosmetic blems and a scratch that come
from 6000 miles of touring, commuting and thrashing my KLR since last
March. Basically it just ain't as shiny and pretty as a brand new
one. I picked up a set of the Happy Trails racks and really don't
need it any more. The first 30 bucks will take it and I'll pay the
shipping.
I picked up the lowering links shortly after I got my KLR. I was
just positive that it was too tall for me and I needed to lower it. I
got the Quality R & D Links from Fred at Arrowhead which lowered it
an inch and a half. Well, to make a long story short, I loved having
the lower stand-over height, but I didn't love bottoming out the
suspension when I was out tearing up the trails. I think I paid
about $105 plus S & H for the links. I would take $75.00 for them
and will pay shipping. They are in perfect condition except for the
bottom of one of them has some little pits where gravel must have
flew up and hit it. Shouldn't be an issue unless you lay under your
bike a lot to check things out in which case I don't want to sell
them to you anyway. This would be a great chance to mess around with
lowering your KLR at a little more reasonable price. However, I
would suggest that if you are a big aggressive rider that you not
bother as you will definitely bottom out. If you are just riding
streets and gravel roads then you won't have any problems regardless
of your weight. For sure, if you are a little bit height handicapped
and don't ride too outrageously you will just love having the bike a
little lower. It makes a hell of a difference.
If anyone has any questions just drop me an email off list.
