Hello all,
Having recently returned to biking after a long layoff, I knew that I wanted a big trail bike but didn't know what model. I hadn't heard of a Tengai until I saw one advertised but when I saw it, I knew that it was 'the one'. So far it has done exactly what I hoped it would.I have had a few problems, mainly as a result of a lack of TLC on the part of a previous owner[s].I had to replace the head and cams due ,I think,to the oil filter tube being missing. I am of course replacing the balancer adjuster. The adjuster on my bike (B1) is just a single piece,ie it does not have the welded on part.Is this only on the early models? The fit on shaft is very poor, would it be worth welding up and reshaping the hole for a better fit?
One last thing, I need a rear suspension rocker arm and bearings and have located a KLR600 one-- is it the same?
Thanks to all listers, its great to know you're not alone!
