Well it happened. Last week when I was in Moab, I noticed a lot of
popping and sorta backfiring from my Big Gun pipe. Thinking maybe the
nuts around the header loosened up I took the pipe off and inspected it.
Big one inch crack right where it bolted to the engine. Ya'll were right
about the Big Gun. Glad I trailered instead of rode it out. Twitty is
back on but not for long. Saving for a Pro Duro.

Ron, my A15 has only 2,300 miles on it and it just started doing the popping and a little backfiring... How do I investigate that mine is also failed? -Todd

acerbis rally pros
Hi, all.
There's been a post or two recently about (trouble with) installing
different handguards, so I thought I'd put in a plug in favor of the
Acerbis Rally Pros. I just put on a pair -- they fit perfectly and went
on with no trouble at all, even though I was working in near darkness.
The metal spines are solid enough to inspire confidence. Of course, they
are a bit expensive when new -- I got mine second hand.
Cheers,
-Lujo
