How does one get in touch with Tim Bernard? I've tried his e-mail but nothing happened, by the way I did not write it down, like an idiot, and I need it again. I have what I think is an awesome idea for a bash plate. But, I need to discuss it with Tim to see if he thinks it is viable. Is he on a trip or on hiatus? Can someone get hold of him and ask him to get in touch with me? My number will be below. Jim Sherlock AMA585601 (512) 280-4682

klr assembly

KLRer's-- I am importing a '02 from Canada, taking delivery of the bike unassembled and in its original crate. Delivery is set for this week. The dealer states that there is no assembly manual (owners manual only), and I do not have the factory service manuals (yet). So...is there anyone in the Bellingham WA area that would loan me their service manuals (for a weekend), and/or would be interested in assisting the assembly of a new KLR? You get: pizza and beverages, witness the "birth" of a new bike, demonstrate your knowledge of the bike and modifications, and, "bragging" rights--ie "I set that bike up!!!". I get: the benefit of your knowledge, a properly assembled bike with correct torque settings, carb modifications, etc., all right from the start. Please contact off list if interested. Thanks!
