I think DualStar still has new Y2K military take-offs available for $150.

blown shock

Hi group - Me and my A-12 have been lurking for two years. Suddenly, I
rode around the block after winter storage and presto, the rear shock is
blown. Never a sign of trouble before. At least none seen. Now bounces
like on a rubber band. Sooooo.....
Roessler is over $400 but worth it?? Who knows of some other options to
fix this on more limited budget. Stock shock?? How hard is it to do this
repair yourself - like simply replace the shock with another stocker??
Any input would be appreciated.
Kelly - A12 - Mukilteo WA - School Psychologist - btw I've seen another
KLR on the Mukilteo Speedway - ru on the list??

For you Florida listers...
Ocala & Osceola National Forest's now have a campfire ban going till Aug. 31.
Reason for posting this is that the ban extends to motorcycles & ATV's not
having a USFS approved spark arrestor. This ban just came about so the powers
that be will likely be actively enforcing it. They're talking up to 5000.00
fines...so if you're using an aftermarket can that's not USFS approved,
better stick the old stocker back on at least until the 31st of August.
