Dear Friends....
Even though I kind'a already know what the answer will be, here's the
situation:
My bike has 7000 miles on it, I drove 300 myself since I bought it.
When I first start the bike up it sounds OK.
After the zylinder warms up, the klicking starts. I don't notice any
performance loss (yet), but I suspect a sticking valve?
A valve adjustment at the local dealer costs $150 smackers and that
kind'a hurts too much right now. Is it safe to keep driving or will
I ruin something?

Yes you will, namely the valves. If they're too tight, and don't close all the way, you can burn them up! I wouldn't chance it myself. Save yourself some money and do it yourself. There is a real good procedure with good pictures on Mark's web site. Ed A15> I ruin something? > > Hal

I purchased the same springs, and thought maybe they sent the wrong ones, but upon comparison, they are good to go. I read on someones website that the LR springs are stiffer still than the 11-1128. These springs solved all my brake dive problems, and me being about 200 lbs. with gear on, they are plenty stiff enough. I am kinda glad I didn't get the stiffer ones, for my weight.
