klx 650 c ruined head

My son cooked the head on his 96 KLX650 - no oil. He's kicking himself real hard. I didn't say a thing. The exhaust cam , lifters and head are cooked. The bottom end seems fine. Any help out there? Parts for sale? Thanks, Hoge
